Jean-Michel, your skipper

A life at sea in service of your navigation

Sailing has been part of my daily life for over twenty years.

Over the years, I've sailed the open seas, delivered boats, learned to read the conditions, anticipate weather changes, and adapt the navigation to the boat, the location, and the people on board.

My Yachtmaster Offshore certification attests to a professional level, but it is above all the experience accumulated at sea that allows me today to offer fair, smooth, and situationally appropriate voyages.

This human and committed approach is reflected in each Private sailing cruises with a skipper proposed from Athens.

An independent skipper, fully committed on board

Najida is a sailing boat I know intimately.

I followed its preparation, its fitting out and its evolution, and I personally ensure its maintenance, organisation and technical follow-up.

Every choice on board – equipment, storage, autonomy, organisation of the deck and interior – has been conceived for one thing only: sailing with peace of mind.

Being an independent skipper means being able to decide, adjust, repair, and anticipate without relying on an external structure.

This is what guarantees the reliability of the boat and the consistency of the experience offered.

What this actually changes for your cruise

This attention to the boat and its preparation is immediately felt on board.

Navigation is smoother, quieter, more relaxed.

This allows:

  • to favour sailing whenever conditions allow,
  • to anticipate changes in weather or wind,
  • to choose truly suitable moorings,
  • to avoid unnecessary or uncomfortable situations.

Your role is not to worry about the boat, but to experience the sea, the scenery and the rhythm of the cruise.

Transfer, accompany, share the navigation

Depending on your wishes, I can also accompany you in getting to grips with the yacht:

Sails, manoeuvres, chart reading, understanding of route or anchorage choices.

Navigation then becomes a shared moment, without pressure, where we learn by doing, at the pace of the cruise.

This way of supporting and structuring life on board takes on its full meaning during Family cruises, where framework and trust are essential.

Simple, respectful and consistent navigation

Navigating is also about making choices.

On board Najida, priority is given to sailing, self-sufficiency, natural anchorages, and a discreet presence in the places visited.

This approach, both technical and respectful, allows you to discover the sea and the Greek coasts in very good conditions, without depending on marinas or heavy infrastructure.

This attentive and reassuring approach is also at the heart of 100% women’s cruises proposed from Athens.

Najida, an embodied experience

Najida is not a standard boat, and this cruise is not a mass-produced product.

This is a voyage led by an engaged skipper, on a meticulously maintained sailing yacht, for people who wish to experience the sea with simplicity, care, and coherence.
